Art & Fabrication Club – Wednesdays, 3:00-4:00 PM

This club provides learners with the chance to expand their skills in welding and fabrication, working alongside an industry expert to create unique sculptures and projects. Whether enhancing a personal portfolio or exploring creative design, this hands-on experience allows students to bring their artistic visions to life.

Our extra-curricular programme offers a range of engaging activities designed to support creativity, fitness, teamwork, and personal development.

Adapted Sporting Activities – Thursdays, 3:00-4:00 PM

Run by our Physical Education Lead, these sessions feature inclusive and adapted sports to encourage teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Learners will engage in team-building games and modified sports activities, promoting social interaction, confidence, and friendships in a supportive environment.

Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) Bronze/Silver award

At the Motiv8 School the DofE award is built into the curriculum, it is designed to help young people develop skills, resilience, and confidence. It typically takes six-twelve months to complete and consists of four sections:

  • Volunteering – Helping others in the community, such as charity work, coaching, or environmental projects.
  • Skills – Learning a new skill, such as cooking, playing an instrument, coding, or photography.
  • Physical – Participating in a physical activity, like football, swimming, dance, or martial arts.
  • Expedition – A self-sufficient journey in the countryside, requiring map reading, teamwork, and camping skills.

Small Group Fitness & Personal Training – Tuesdays, 3:00-4:00 PM

Led by our health and well-being specialist, these sessions offer both group fitness classes and one-to-one training tailored to individual goals.

  • Mental benefits: Reduces stress and anxiety, boosts confidence and self-esteem, improves focus, and builds mental resilience.
  • Physical benefits: Enhances cardiovascular health, increases muscular strength, improves balance and coordination, and supports overall fitness.
